Challenge Dad on Father’s Day to a Little Family Friendly Competition
Put the old man’s navigational and racing skills to the test!
Sanford, FL – Pangea invites thrill seekers, casual gym-goers, elite athletes, spectators and the media to participate in their upcoming Adventure Race.
Who: Pangea Adventure Racing and its 217+ race participants and spectators (a new Pangea Adventure Racing Series record)
What: The SCAR Adventure Race at Katie’s Landing in Sanford, sponsored by Travel Country, The North Face, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, and Florida State Parks.
When: The 6-hour Elite Division race begins on Sunday, June 20th at 9 a.m., while the 3-hour Sport Division race begins at 12 p.m. Both divisional races will end at 3 p.m. the same day. Post-race awards and raffles start at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Start / Finish at Katie’s Landing, Wekiva Park Drive, Sanford, Florida 32771
Celebrate Father’s Day with a family team building experience. Dad will never forget the joy you shared in working together to finish this adventure of a lifetime. Plan a perfect Sunday outdoors along the beautiful Wekiva River, designated by the State of Florida as an “Outstanding Florida Waterway”. Challenge yourself mentally and physically as you canoe, bike, and trek through natural, unmarked terrain.
