Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - The Greatest Night

September 5, 2010

Dear Family & Friends:

I have recently committed to raise money to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation achieve its mission of controlling and curing Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in support of The Greatest Night as I was selected as an honoree.  If you could please help me meet my goal of raising $2,500.00 by November 1 by making a donation today, I would greatly appreciate it.  Your charitable contribution is 100% tax deductible, and any amount you choose to donate will be of great assistance.

If you are interested in doing so, making a donation is easy and can be done in one of two ways:

1) Just visit my Home Page at http://www.cff.org/LWC/CristinaCalvetHarrold to make a donation by credit card that will be credited to my efforts; or

2) Send a check, made payable to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, to me at:

Cristina M. Calvet-Harrold 1301 Belmont Dr. Orlando, FL 32806

The deadline for donations is November 1, 2010.

As you may know, cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems of 30,000 children and young adults in the United States today. There is no cure. People with CF suffer from chronic and often fatal, lung infections and have difficulty digesting food. Although the outlook for a child born with CF today has improved greatly over the years (the median age of survival for a person with CF is now 36.5 years. This is not good enough as we continue to lose one precious life to CF every day.

I promise you that your donation will not go to waste. When you make a donation to the CF Foundation, you are helping to ensure that children with CF will live longer and more productive lives.  The CF Foundation has been recognized by SmartMoney as one of the most "efficient" charities in the country--with nearly 90 cents of every dollar donated available for investment in vital CF research, education, and care programs. By investing in the CF Foundation, you are helping to fund the landmark research that will, one day, make a tremendous difference in the lives of those with the disease.  With your help, we can give the children and adults with CF the quality of life and the future they deserve.

Thank you in advance for being a part of this very important cause.

                                                                                                    Kind regards,

                                                                                                                Cristina M. Calvet-Harrold
